Firefighters battled to stop a boat fire spreading to other vessels at a popular marina on Saturday afternoon.
Crews were called to the Medway Bridge Marina in Rochester at 3.52pm after a boat caught fire, with smoke visible from across the River Medway.
Two fire engines and a police car were on the scene in Manor Lane and a hose reel and compressed foam were used to keep the flames under control.
The fire was on land, rather than in the water, but a spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said that the cause of the fire is not yet known.
Police are not treating the fire as suspicious and it had been extinguished by 5pm.
Fire crews left the scene shortly afterwards.
