Bomb disposal unit in Dale Road, Rochester

Two homes have been evacuated after a police found a suspicious item inside a property.
A bomb disposal unit was called in to fix the problem in Dale Road, Rochester at it's junction with Pickwick Crescent
The experts were there since 8am this morning and have left the site.

The road has now been reopened.
Police were alerted to the issue after a woman was making threats yesterday
Police spokesman James Walker said: "Police were called at 3.30pm on Tuesday, December, 4 to a report of a woman making threats towards a person in Barnsole Road, Gillingham.
"As part of ongoing inquiries, a house in Dale Road, Rochester, is being searched and suspicious items were found inside the property.
"As a precaution two houses nearby have been evacuated and a Ministry of Defence Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit was called to attend along with Kent Fire and Rescue Service.
"Inquiries into the circumstances are ongoing."
One lady who lives in the area said: "I wasn't allowed to walk down Dale Road, I was just taking my dog out.
"It's a family area here, nothing much usually happens here.
"I don't live on this street but I live down the road but I'm concerned.
"Hopefully nobody will come to any grief and it will all go back to normal."
