Boy taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Wood Street, Brompton

A schoolboy suffered an arm injury and was taken to hospital after being hit by a car yesterday afternoon.
The boy, who has not been named was injured in Wood Street, Brompton, shortly before 4.30pm.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene and police closed the road while they dealt with the incident.
Paramedics treated the injured boy at the scene before he was put in an ambulance and taken to nearby Medway Maritime Hospital for treatment.
Police left the scene shortly before 7pm.
