Six arrests in Peter Beale murder investigation in Rochester

Two more people were arrested yesterday in connection with the suspected murder of Peter Beale under Rochester Bridge - bringing the total to six.
A teenage girl from Hove and a man in his 20s of no fixed address were taken in for questioning yesterday.
They have now been released pending further inquires and no-one is in custody relating to the incident.
Mr Beale, 39, of Sittingbourne, was found dead on the Rochester side of the High Street bridge on Tuesday morning.
A man in his 30s from Rainham was arrested on the night of the incident and has since been released without charge.
Two other men were arrested in Chattenden on Wednesday afternoon. One is in his 40s and from Chattenden and the other is in his 20s and from Belvedere.
They have been released pending further inquiries.
A woman in her 50s and from Norfolk was arrested on Thursday.
She has also been released from custody pending further inquiries.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who believes they have information about the man’s death, or anyone who heard or saw anything unusual in the High Street or Corporation Street area the previous night or during the early hours of Tuesday, September 18.
