A burglar was sent to prison after being found guilty of two burglaries and one attempted burglary.
Daniel Lincoln, 28, of Elmwood Road, Chattenden, had denied the allegations but was convicted when he appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court.
The court heard he broke into a garage in Barr Road, Gravesend, and stole two bikes, camping equipment and golf clubs valued at £1,600.
He also broke into a garage in Rochester Road, Gravesend, and attempted to break into another with intent to steal.
Later he failed to show up for a hearing at court, an offence he admitted while in the dock.
Magistrates jailed Lincoln for 12 months and ordered him to pay £3,700 compensation and fined him £50 for failing to show up for his earlier court appearance.
