Invicta Dynamos have completed the signing of their second import with the capture of Canadian forward Daniel Borges.
The 24-year-old left-hander arrives in Gillingham this week and should be available for Saturday’s trip to Bracknell.
Borges will see one familiar face at the Ice Bowl in fellow import Daniel Calitri who he previously played alongside at the Oakville Blades.
Dynamos head coach Kevin Parrish said: “I have spent a long time making sure we get exactly the right sort of player to the club so it’s great to have Daniel joining us now. I’m confident he fits the bill for what we need.
“Daniel is very enthusiastic about getting over to the UK and, having played at a number of levels back across the pond, is desperate to prove himself this side of the Atlantic.
"Hopefully he will go on to be a big part of our attack as we set about defending our league title."
