Cannabis plants have been seized during a raid on a high street shop.
Police officers swooped on the property in Strood High Street last week (May 8).
The shop windows are being used to campaign for Reform UK, however, it is understood it has no involvement in the premises itself.
The building owner Bill Khatkar told KentOnline he was leasing the property to a business but sold the advertising space outside separately.
He said he was first told what had happened by a family member after the police had been called.
An investigation is ongoing after officers seized a quantity of cannabis plants from the building.
Nobody was at the premises at the time of the search.
