Car and motorbike crash on Chatham Hill
15:01, 09 July 2013
Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash on Chatham Hill this afternoon.
The emergency services were called out shortly after 2pm. Police closed the road after the bike and Vauxhall Corsa crashed. The car then ploughed into a wall.
It is not thought anyone was seriously injured, but it is believed the roof of the Corsa, pictured above, had to be cut off to free the female driver inside.
The male motorcyclist is thought to have suffered injuries to his wrist and face.
A police spokesman said the road was closed for about 50 minutes while they dealt with the incident.
