A driver escaped serious injury after their car collided with an infamous metal "bell".
Police were called to Gun Lane, Strood, yesterday at 6.45am after a report of a vehicle crashing into the bollard near Papa John's Pizza takeaway.
The route was shut for more than three hours because the road was obstructed.
Fortunately, no one was said to have been seriously hurt.
The bollard - which is shaped like a bell - is designed to stop cars mounting the pavement to protect pedestrians.
It has damaged a number of cars over the years and even caused some to flip.
A driver miraculously escaped serious injury in 2014 after they overturned their car on the corner.
