Traffic built up in Chatham town centre after a car crashed into the Halfords store.
The accident happened in Batchelor Street, near the junction with The Brook at about 12.45pm.
The male driver is not thought to have been seriously injured but was taken to hospital as a precaution.
A worker at Halfords, who did not wish to be named, said: "There was a loud crash.
"The brick wall took a bit of a bang. But we are carrying on as normal here."
