A motorway is now open after car ended up on its roof and caught alight after a crash earlier this morning.
The smash happened on the coastbound carriageway of the M2 shortly before 8am near to the Medway Services near Gillingham, but only minor injuries have been reported.
The driver of a Peugeot 207 was initially trapped in the overturned vehicle, but was pulled out by other motorists before the flames could take hold.
Firefighters from Medway fire station were called out to deal with the incident and ambulance crews were also sent to the scene.
The vehicle may have clipped a horse box vehicle travelling in the same direction, but police said there were no horses in the box at the time of the collision.
The emergency services left the scene at about 9.30am and the carriageway was reopened.
