Caravan fire in Pottery Road, Hoo, being treated as arson

Police are investigating a caravan fire which is believed to have been set alight on purpose.
Firefighters from Strood were called to Potters Court in Hoo early this morning to attend the vehicle which is believed to have been abandoned on the road.
Crews tackled the blaze which did not cause any injuries.
Spokesman for the police, Natalie Foreman, said: “We were called at 4.47am on Saturday 5 May to Potters Court, Hoo in Rochester following reports of a caravan on fire.
“Officers are treating the fire as arson and are conducting enquiries.”
