Crash near Gravesend Road in Strood

A woman has been injured after two cars were involved in a collision near a petrol station.
Motorists travelling down the Gravesend Road towards Strood are facing queues after the accident, which has left the B2108 partially blocked.
Both cars have crashed into railings at a set of traffic lights near a Tesco Express petrol station.
Kent Police was called at 4.28pm following a report of a two car collision in Brompton Farm Road, Strood, at the junction with the A226 Gravesend Road.
During the collision, which involved a silver BMW and a black Nissan Juke, a traffic light was also damaged.
The female driver of the Nissan is reported to have suffered injuries.
Officers have closed the road while the vehicles are recovered.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service is also in attendance.
