Rochester rape: Police appeal for CCTV and dashcam footage after sex attack in The Vines

Detectives are appealing for CCTV and dashcam footage after a woman was raped while walking through a park.

The Vines, off Crow Lane, in Rochester, was taped off on Sunday morning after police received reports of the attack.

The victim, a woman in her 20s, was walking through the park with a man, who is reported to have raped her.

Police say the man and woman had met earlier and were walking through The Vines together.

Later that day a 19-year-old man from Chatham was arrested on suspicion of rape but was later bailed to return to the police station on Monday, December 16.

Now, officers are appealing to anyone who may have footage of The Vines, St Margaret's Street, Troy Town and Delce areas between 2.30am and 4am.
