Police cancel appeal after Gillingham woman was injured when she was barged into at Victoria Station in London after getting off Ramsgate train

A woman suffered a broken shoulder and elbow when she was violently barged into on a railway station platform.

Detectives from the British Transport Police released two CCTV images of a man they wanted to speak to after the woman was injured.

They have since identified the man in the photo and say enquiries are ongoing.

The 33-year-old, from Gillingham, was standing on platform 2 at Victoria station in London when the incident happened on Thursday, October 16.

The woman got off the Ramsgate train at about 12.30pm that day.

The man in the CCTV images also got off the train at the same time and as the woman turned and walked in the opposite direction along the platform, a man collided with her.

Police have now cancelled the appeal for information as the investigation continues.
