Chatham face another difficult test when promotion-chasing Whitehawk visit Maidstone Road on Saturday.

The Sussex side, managed by former Gillingham midfielder Darren Freeman, are third in Ryman League, Division 1 South, having been promoted last season.

Chatham boss Paul Foley, pictured, said: "They are pushing for the top spots and have a large budget.

"Our home record is much better than away and we will be looking to remain unbeaten for three games."

Alfie Harris will be involved in the run-in until the end of the season. The former West Ham youngster has joined from Vandanel Kent County League side Phoenix Sports and played for VCD under Foley last season.

The 19-year-old can play at either centre-half or centre-forward and was expected at training last night (Thursday) with Francis Tshikaya and Jason Dolby.

Anthony Hogg, sidelined since a serious facial injury at Leatherhead in February, was also expected to join in training and keeper James Tedder could be back.

Chatham and Lordswood are offering supporters two games for the price of one. Supporters can watch Lords against Greenwich (1pm) and then the Chats game which starts at 3pm. Tickets cost £10 (£5 for concessions).
