Chatham Town slipped to a 3-1 loss to Corinthian Casuals in Ryman League Division 1 South on Saturday which saw all four goals arrive in a frantic final 15 minutes.

Town could have gone third in Ryman League Division 1 South but lost for second time time in three home ganes in difficult conditions at Maidstone Road.

Richard Avery had hit the post for the home side and Brendon Cass had gone close in the first half before Avery saw a header cleared-off the line after the break.

However to the dismay of boss Alex O'Brien, pictured, Town's defence went to sleep after 75 minutes and Gavin Cartwright's header set the visitors on their way and two fine strikes from distance inside 60 seconds from Ali Wilshire after 84 and 85 minutes put the game beyond the Chats.

David Hall netted a late consolation two minutes from time when he deflected a Cass effort into the net, but it was too little too late for Town.
