Chatham Town manager Kevin Watson is poised to strengthen his squad in the next few days.
He believes the time is right to shuffle his pack at Maidstone Road and may look to bring in loan players but says nothing is likely to happen before the Ryman League Division 1 North trip to AFC Sudbury on Saturday.
"We could look to freshen things up," said Watson. "There is enough quality in the squad but it sometimes helps to look at different personnel.
"We have been been speaking to several people but it’s too early to confirm any names. We may be able to do something over the next week."
Watson was disappointed with the 1-0 defeat at Soham on Tuesday, the game decided by a 90th-minute winner.
"I would have taken a point at that stage, which is possibly the most we deserved," he said. "The pitch wasn’t great but there were too many below-par performances."
Brad Potter and Rob Denness are still struggling with foot and knee injuries respectively and look set to miss out again.
