Chatham Town hope to play their way out of recent slump

Chatham Town hope to beat the weather on Saturday and get back on track in Ryman League, Division 1 South.
The Chats suffered their third defeat in four games last weekend with a 4-1 defeat at promotion-chasing Whitehawk in their first game for three weeks.
Paul Foley’s side slipped to 18th place but remain nine points above the bottom two of Whitstable and Horsham.
With the table looking increasingly tight, Chats are just two points off 12th spot.
Weather permitting, the Chats will host Chipstead tomorrow who are one of the sides in the pack with Chatham but who have been without a game for almost four weeks.
They did, however, record back-to-back wins and clean sheets in the final two games before the cold snap arrived.
