Chatham Town boss Paul Foley is facing up to the prospect of another blank weekend.
Last week’s game against Fleet fell victim to a frozen pitch at Maidstone Road, and the Kent Senior Cup tie at Ramsgate on Tuesday was also postponed.
With more heavy snow forecast, the Ryman League Division 1 South game at Worthing on Saturday looks highly unlikely to go ahead.
Foley (pictured) admitted: “Postponements are frustrating, no matter what the circumstance, as you always want to play. If you don’t then you shouldn’t be in football.
“The Ramsgate postponement affected the plans for some of the squad, but not too much for the game at Worthing.
“Joe Fuller was unavailable last week and Ray Powell had flu, so we would have been forced to change the side.
“It was an opportunity missed for those lads who would have played, but I don’t think the side would have been any weaker. “
Chats and Ramsgate have arranged a new date for the Kent Senior Cup clash, which will now be played on Tuesday, December 14 (7.45pm).
