Chatham Town are close to naming their new manager.
Chairman Jeff Talbot (pictured) has confirmed the Ryman League Division 1 South club have a shortlist of three and interviews have already started.
He said: "We had 14 people interested in the job, including some good applicants."
Former boss Alex O’Brien left the club in early May together with assistant Lew Watts, after only one season, his first in management.
Mr Talbot added: "I had mixed feelings about Alex going. We had a long chat and he wanted to go forward in his job development and we parted on good terms. It was his decision and but for that, I think he would still be at the club."
