New mum Laura Rowden missed out on Christmas dinner this year - but she doesn’t mind.
The 23-year-old, of The Everglades, Hempstead, was busy handing out presents when she went into labour on Christmas morning.
Laura gave birth to Marie Katie at 10.29am that day at Medway Maritime Hospital.
Marie, who weighed 5lbs exactly, gave Laura and dad Nicci Brearey (all pictured above) a bit of a shock - arriving four weeks early.
Nicci, who is also 23, said: “It was definitely a nice Christmas surprise. We both missed out on Christmas dinner but I think someone might have saved some for us.”
The first Medway baby to be born on Christmas Day was to Ben Midwinter and Megan Swandale. The couple of Albany Road, Gillingham, haven't yet decided on a name for their little girl who was born at 5.08am weighing 6lb 9oz.
