Coach firm The Kings Ferry has scored a winner after being awarded contracts to take thousands of fans to the UEFA Champions League Final.
The Gillingham-based operator will carry almost 3,500 Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund supporters and staff to the game at Wembley Stadium Saturday, after being awarded the contract by Euro Sport and Event Management.
Those arriving at Stansted and Gatwick airports will be met by 72 Kings Ferry coaches.
Commercial director Danny Elford said: “Netting the Champions League contract is a cracking win for our business. The Kings Ferry has nearly 30 years experience of providing a first-class service for teams, fans and VIPs travelling to major sporting events, so those arriving in the UK can enjoy a comfortable journey to and from the game.”
The Kings Ferry, which is part of National Express Group, has served several major sporting events.
The firm supplied the Barcelona team coach for the 2011 Champions League Final, and regularly puts on coaches for domestic finals at Wembley Stadium.
It also provides luxury VIP coaches for Premiership football teams.
