Dock Road, Chatham re-opened in both directions after crash

Drivers were facing delays following a crash involving two cars.
Dock Road in Chatham was closed in both directions closed after the accident which happened near Fort Amherst.
The accident has now been cleared and Dock Road has re-opened in both directions, clearing up traffic.
There was congestion towards The Brook Theatre, Chatham Hill, New Road and surrounding roads. Residents were advised to find alternative routes.

A spokesman for police said: "Kent Police was called at 5pm today to a collision involving two cars. Officers attended the scene where no injuries were reported."
South East Coast Ambulance have been approached for comment.
Elsewhere, on the M2 one lane is closed and there is queuing traffic due to an accident between a lorry and a fuel tanker involved on M2 eastbound carriageway from Junction 4 for Gillingham to Junction 5 for Sittingbourne, but police say they have not been called to the incident.
