Strood town centre blocked as car overturns at junction with Gun Lane

A driver has miraculously escaped serious injury after a car overturned in a town centre today.
The accident happened in Strood High Street, at the junction with Gun Lane, this morning.
A silver Ford Focus landed on its roof and no other cars are believed to have been involved.
Police were directing traffic, but the crash had been causing delays.
It happened at about 10.40am and part of the town centre was blocked for about two hours.
A South East Coast Ambulance spokesman said one person has been taken to hospital with minor injuries.
She added: "Kent Police were called at 10.47am to reports of a road traffic collision in Gun Lane, Strood.
"Four roads are currently blocked and patrols remain on scene, along with the South East Coast Ambulance Service."
