Man taken to King's hospital after crash on Hoath Way

There were major delays on the A2 tonight after a man was hit by a car.
Emergency services were called to Hoath Way in Gillingham just before 3.30pm.
An ambulance and two paramedic cars were sent to the crash and the casualty was taken to King's Hospital by air ambulance.
Police closed the southbound road between Bowaters Roundabout and the roundabout which joins with Ambley Road.
The road eventually reopened at 7.55pm.
