A patient has been taken to hospital after a crash involving three vehicles caused delays through a busy road tunnel.
Police have been called to the incident in the Medway Tunnel with a vehicle partially blocking the road shortly after 1.30pm.
Drivers were warned to expect delays heading through the westbound tunnel towards Strood and the Medway City Estate.
In a tweet, Medway Highways said: "The vehicle is in a coned off area and the police are in attendance. Delays expected so please use an alternative route if possible."
It is not believed anyone has been seriously injured, police said.
Drivers are reporting taking about 30 minutes to get through the area.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 1.42pm on October 25 to a report of a collision involving three vehicles inside the Strood bound Medway Tunnel.
"Officers are assisting along with South East Coast Ambulance Service. No serious injuries are believed to have been reported."
A spokesman for the ambulance service added: "Ambulance crews have attended the scene and one person was assessed and treated before being taken to Medway Maritime Hospital."
