A woman had to be cut out of her car after a two-vehicle crash in Rainham this morning.
The smash resulted in the road being closed while the emergency services dealt with the incident, but has since reopened.
The crash happened in Bloors Lane, at about 8.10am and firefighters were called to the scene shortly afterwards to help free the woman.
The crew from Medway used cutting equipment to get the roof off the vehicle to free her.
Police and paramedics were also sent to the scene near Splashes Leisure Centre and police closed the road at the junction with the A2.
A spokesman for Kent Police said: “The woman’s injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.”
