Crash on slip-road on M2 London-bound at Strood causes delays

A crash between two vans on the M2 slip road at Strood has resulted in one vehicle ending up on its side.
The emergency services were called out to the slip road as it joins the motorway at Junction 1 on the London-carriagway, after the crash earlier this afternoon.
Traffic is being held back from joining the motorway at the junction and motorists are being warned to expect delays.
A spokesman for police, said: “Kent Police was called at 2.20pm.
“Officers are at the scene. Two vans are reported to be involved, with one of the vehicles currently on its side.
“Lane closures are in place. No serious injuries have so far been reported.”
