Fire crews called out to kitchen fire at home in Coniston Close, Gillingham

Firefighters were called out to a deal with a kitchen fire at a home in Gillingham yesterday evening (Tuesday).
A crew from Medway fire station were called out to a home on Coniston Close, at about 6.45pm where they used breathing apparatus to enter the property to put the fire out.
The crew also used a positive pressure fan to ventilate the home to clear it of smoke after they had extinguished the flames.
It is not known at this stage how the started but no one was injured during the incident.
