Firefighters have been tackling a house fire in Rochester.
Five crews were called to Maidstone Road from around 12.30pm.
Smoke could be seen billowing from the roof of the semi-detached property, opposite Rochester Grammar School.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the building and a specialist height vehicle has been used so the flames could be tackled from above.
The road has remained open but there are some delays in the area. Police have been on the scene slowing down traffic because the crews' hose reels have had to be laid across the road.
No-one is thought to have been injured in the incident.
