A trapped woman was cut free from the wreckage of a car following a crash.
Firefighters were called to the incident involving a lorry in City Way, Rochester, around noon today
Kent Police controlled traffic in the area as the fire crews used the jaws of life to remove the car's roof.
This allowed paramedics access to start treating the injured woman.
She was later released from her vehicle and passed into the care of the ambulance service.
Two fire engines were sent to the incident.
The road was partially blocked in both directions with very slow traffic around Horsted Way.
