She's best known for telling people to "Bog Off" as TV's naughty orphan Tracy Beaker, but soon Dani Harmer will take to the stage as Wendy in Peter Pan.
The actress, now aged 30, is starring in the show alongside comedy legend Bobby Davro and Disney's Art Attack presenter Lloyd Warbey.
Dani and the rest of the cast have been busy rehearsing at Chatham Central Theatre for the four shows on Saturday April 6 and Sunday, April 7.
She said: "I've been to Chatham many times now, I've been doing the shows since I was 16.
"I played Wendy four or five years ago, Peter Pan is one of my favourite story books, I loved it as a child.
"When I was younger I always used to play Peter Pan, which was so fun, it was very boisterous and I used to do sword fighting.
"But when I play Wendy I'm very prim and proper in my nightie.
"She's a sweet and sensible but I do still get to fly.
"It's not scary because I've been doing it for ages but the biggest challenge is to make it look effortless, it's actually really uncomfortable.
"We've got singing, dancing and lots of comedy with Bobbi Davro.
"I've known him for 10 years so it's always fun working with him, you never know what's going to come out of his mouth.
"Lloyd Warbey is awesome and a great Peter Pan.
"It's going to be fun for all the family with lots of magic and sparkle, bring your kids, bring your friends, bring your gran."
Although the final episode of Tracy Beaker was aired in 2005, people see Dani as the popular character.
She said: "It's really strange, I thought most people who know Tracy Beaker would be my age.
"I think it's because they just keep showing repeats.
"Just the other day a little girl who was about seven came up to me and asked if I was Tracy Beaker, it's crazy."
Unfortunately Dani's schedule has been jam packed so she hasn't ventured out into the Towns.
She said: "I do love Maidstone though, it's stunning and it's got some great bars."
