David Mathews hit four goals as Holcombe won 6-2 at Conference East bottom club Chelmsford on Sunday.
He completed a 23-minute hat-trick, and James Kitcherside added a fourth goal before half-time.
The Essex side pulled one back 10 minutes into the second-half, but Mathews (pictured) and Stephen Waldrom added two more in eight minutes to make it 6-1. Chelmsford got their second two minutes from the end.
The win, Holcombe’s fourth of the season, leaves the Rochester club fourth in the table.
