Delays on M2 near Junction 3 for Chatham and Rochester after two crashes involving six cars

Two lanes of a motorway have been closed after two accidents involving a total of six cars.
Police are at the scene along the M2 near Junction 3 for Chatham and Rochester after a crash involving two cars and another incident involving up to four vehicles.
Minor injuries have been reported from both accidents on the Londonbound carriageway.
Paramedics and firefighters are en route.
There are severe delays in the area and police have advised motorists to avoid it if possible.
Police were called shortly after 8am.
Ambulance spokesman Rich Airey said the first collision was between a car and a minibus with three people injured.
Two ambulances and a car were sent to the scene and took two patients to Medway Maritime Hospital suffering with back and neck injuries which were described as not serious.
Highways England said the road reopened fully at 10.30am.
Further details of the second crash have not been released yet.
