Three vehicle crash on M2 near Chatham causes delays for motorists during rush hour

Motorists faced delays on the M2 this morning after a crash between three vehicles.
The accident happened on the coastbound carriageway at junction 3 for the A229 near Blue Bell Hill.
It is understood the crash happened shortly before 8am and involved a van, a car and a lorry.
Emergency services were sent to the scene and one lane was closed.
It has since reopened. Delays had cleared by 9am.
A spokesman for police said: "At 07.56am police were called to the report of a collision between three vehicles on the M2 motorway at junction three.
"No injuries have been reported.
"Police remain at the scene as debris is removed from one of the lanes."
