Fire crews tackle blaze on Arriva double decker bus in Hoo Road, Rochester

A double decker bus has been destroyed by a fire which ripped through the vehicle in Hoo Road, Rochester.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to the blaze just after 7.15pm yesterday evening.
Three fire engines attended and crews wearing breathing apparatus used four hose reels and compressed air foam to tackle the fire from the front and back of the bus simultaneously.
No one was injured.
Simon Finnie, area managing director for Arriva said: "I can confirm a there was a fire on an Arriva bus on Friday, April 30.
"There were no passengers on board at the time and our driver is ok. We have launched a full investigation."
