A woman has been banned from the road after getting behind the wheel more than twice the legal limit.
Veroinica Plumbe, 42, was caught driving a Ford KA in Gillingham while over the drink-drive limit and pleaded guilty to the offence when she appeared before magistrates in Dartford.
The court heard how in August, Plumbe, of MacDonald Road, Gillingham, was pulled over by police after driving the KA in Parr Avenue in the town.
When officers gave her a breath test, she gave a reading of 96 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Magistrates banned Plumbe from driving for two years and fined her £150 for the offence.
She was also ordered to pay £235 court costs and if she completes a drink driving course, he ban will be reduced by a quarter.
