Driver flees crashed car on Luton Road in Chatham

A car has crashed in Chatham, halting traffic on a main road.
The vehicle smashed into a barrier at about 6.34am and is now blocking Luton Road.
The people carrier's driver run from the scene following the incident.
Traffic is still being held up as emergency services work on the scene.
