Driver being hunted by police after crash near Halfords in Batchelor Street, Chatham

The driver of a car who made off from the scene of an accident in Chatham is being hunted by police.
Officers were called out to Batchelor Street, at about 5.30pm after two cars collided and one hit a wall near the Halfords store.
It is not though anyone was seriously injured in the smash, but one of the cars failed to stop at the scene.
The crash happened near the Halfords store.
A spokesman for Kent Police said: “Officers are making inquiries into the whereabouts of driver the vehicle.”
No description of the vehicle has been given by the police.
