Mercedes driver who crashed in West Hill in Dartford, who made off from the scene is being hunted by police

A Mercedes driver who crashed his car into lampposts and traffic lights at the bottom of a hill during the early hours, is being hunted by police after making off from the scene.
The crash happened at about 1.30am this morning in West Hill, Dartford.
The white Mercedes collided with at least two lampposts and then crashed into traffic lights at the bottom of the road and came to a standstill.
Firefighters from Dartford were called out to the scene along with police and ambulance crews but the vehicle was empty when they arrived.
The crew made the scene safe and left police managing the scene.
A spokesman for police said: “The occupants of the vehicle were reported to have left the scene.
“No injuries were reported and officers attended the incident and made several inquiries and the investigation into the circumstances is still ongoing.”
