Emergency services close Williams Way in Rochester after concerns raised regarding man's welfare
12:35, 13 January 2018
Emergency services have descended on a residential street following a report of concern for a man's welfare.
Police officers, the ambulance service and firefighters have been called to a house in St Williams Way, Rochester, after concerns were brought to their attention.
As part of their inquiries, St Williams Way, between Jasper Avenue and Fairlead Road, is currently closed.
One resident said that the cordon had prevented an Asda delivery van dropping off groceries to a house in the road.
He said the emergency services had first blocked off the road at around 12.15pm but police were now allowing residents access in their cars.
The road closure is expected to remain until around 6pm.
