Two people rescued from their vehicles after two car collision on New Road, Chatham.

Two people have been taken to hospital after two cars were involved in a crash in Chatham this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene on New Road near the junction with Old Road just before 10:30am.
Fire crews helped rescue a man and a woman from their vehicles following the crash. Hydraulic cutting equipment was used to remove the roof of one of the vehicles.
The woman, who is in her 20s, was suffering from neck pain. Both were treated at the scene then taken to Medway Maritime Hospital for further treatment.
A spokesman for Kent Police said that one lane was closed but traffic was moving. She added that the injuries at not thought to be life threatening.
