Ex-TOWIE star Lauren Goodger visits Joey Morrison at Rochester Prison

17:32, 15 November 2017

Former TOWIE star Lauren Goodger visited her on-off boyfriend bad boy Joey Morrison at Rochester Prison earlier today.

The Essex star rocked up at the site in Fort Road just in time for visits during the afternoon.

Lauren has been dating her jailbird boyfriend for almost two-years on and off, and in July this year, it was reported the star had confirmed she had broken up with him.

It is not clear when Morrison was transferred to HMP Rochester, but earlier this year the couple broke up after apparently having a furious row inside HMP Highpoint South, where Joey had been behind bars.

At the time, a source was quoted in national newspapers saying: “Lauren has told all her mates she is single - she said she has finished with Joey and that the relationship is over.”

According to friends of Lauren, who used to date Mark Wright, who also used to appear on the ITV constructed reality show, she is desperate to start a family with Morrison who is due for release next year.

Romantic Lauren, 31, has spent part of the last two years of her life visiting the con in jail and spoke openly about her dream of having his baby and getting married to him when he is released.

Speaking on Channel 5’s In Therapy, Lauren said: “I think he will a good dad (but) people are saying wait until he’s out.

“I want to get married and have children. I want a beautiful household with lots of love and affection.

“I want to have quite a few children, four or as many as I can.”

A friend of Lauren’s, Jodie, also appeared on the show and said: “She wants to have a baby while he comes out on day release so she’ll be doing the pregnancy all by herself.

“I don’t think she sees it like he’s in prison, I think she sees it like he’s coming out soon.”

After their so-called split in July, other pals of the star, who owns her own tanning and beauty range, admitted she felt ‘silly’ for getting so swept away by a man who she has never been on date with.

Just two months ago, in September the star was quoted as saying: “I am single and enjoying myself’, and just four days ago was again quoted in a national newspaper denying the fact she had got back with the lag.

However, but this week’s visit seems the star may have had a change of heart as she was seen arriving at the prison for the afternoon visiting session.

Morrison and an accomplice, Marvin Russell Jacobs, were handed 16-year prison sentences for a string of violent drugs-related offences.

The pair, both 24 at the time of sentencing, were convicted of a string of offences, including possession of a firearm, kidnapping, blackmail and actual bodily harm.

Morrison and Jacobs were caught after forensic examinations linked objects left at the scene to the pair.

When Morrison was arrested, he was found in possession of £10,000 in cash and £60,000 worth of cocaine.

He is set for release next year.
