Arrests after car stopped by police at Dockside in Chatham

Two men have been arrested after police found suspected crack cocaine and counterfeit bank notes.
Officers stopped a car in Dock Road in Chatham after it came to their attention.
The driver of the car was searched and arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and for assaulting an emergency worker.
On a further search of a house officers seized suspected crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and a number of phones. A large quantity of counterfeit bank notes were also located.
A second man was found inside the house and also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
The detainees, a 26-year-old man from Chatham and a 22-year-old man from Peckham, remain in custody while the investigation continues.
