Most of Kent was covered in fog when we woke up on Saturday but some were lucky enough to rise above it.
One of those was professional drone operator Geoff Watkins who runs Aerial Imaging South East.
The 39-year-old Rainham resident was able to fly his smallest machine above the mist to take stunning photographs looking down on the fog-bound Farthing Corner services on the M2.
He said: "It was uncanny. I was right on the edge of low fog and mist hanging over much of Medway.
"I was able to fly one of my smaller drones right at the edge of it to get these spectacular shots of the area. The light and conditions were perfect."
He has been flying drones for six years but went professional three years ago, taking photos, video and undertaking surveys of land and buildings which are difficult to reach by other means.
He now has four machines he can use.
He said: "I had to use my smallest because I was using my garden for the take off. It was very strange. I could see fog from one of my windows but it was clear air on the other side."
