Fire breaks out in kitchen of flat in Railway Street, Gillingham

A fire broke out in the kitchen of a flat near a railway station.
Crews were called to Railway Street, Gillingham shortly after 9.30am following reports of a fire.
Three fire engines attended and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets and main jets to extinguish the flames.
No casualties were reported and the incident was declared under control an hour later.
The cause is not yet known.
