Firefighters called to flat fire in Maida Road, Chatham

It is not yet known what caused a fire which broke out in a Chatham flat this afternoon.
Two fire engines were sent to the two-storey building in Maida Road just before 1pm.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet and a positive pressure ventilation fan to tackle the blaze.
There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is not yet known.
The firefighters left the scene at 1.30pm.
