Firefighters battle kitchen blaze in Blake Avenue, Gillingham

Four fire engines were sent to a flat last night to tackle a kitchen blaze.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to Blake Avenue in Gillingham just after 8pm and crews wearing breathing apparatus worked to extinguish the flames.
The crew then cleaned the property of smoke using a high pressure fan.
No casualties have been reported and the exact cause of the fire is not known.
Firefighters left the flat at around 9pm on Monday, January 24 after successfully extinguishing the household blaze.
