Firefighters are still at the scene of a large field fire that started last night.
The blaze began just after 11pm in Burham Road, Rochester.
Three engines and crews arrived to find the meadow of manure and straw alight and are working with the landowner to prevent the risk of fire spreading to nearby standing corn.
No injuries have been reported.
It comes as several field fires have engulfed the county over the last two days.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service issued an appeal for people to be vigilant of these blazes in the hot weather.
